FC Ifeanyi Ubah hammers Nassarawa United 1-0

FC Ifeanyi Ubah yesterday brightened their chances of making the top four of the NPFL, with a Seka Pascal 17 minute strike that humbled visiting Nasarawa United in the week 33 NPFL clash at the Ifeanyi Ubah internati0nal stadium in Nnewi/Ozubulu.
Bright Onyedikachi had at the first minute of play, scared Nassarawa United, when his flying header narrowly missed target, even as his brilliant run and shot, a minute later was parried into a corner kick.
Seka Pascal’s 17 minutes strike punished the visiting side, when he capitalized on a defensive blunder and lobbed the ball into the back of the net.
All attempts by the homers to increase the tally before the interval did not yield any positive dividend.
On resumption of second half, the two sides made some substitutions to add bite to their attacks and strengthen their defence.
